Dr. Joshua Doidge, PhD. Clinical Psychologist in Supervised Practice

Dr. Joshua Doidge is a Clinical Psychologist in supervised practice. He holds a Ph.D. and a master's degree in Clinical Developmental Psychology from York University and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Dr. Doidge has worked in various clinical settings and private practices including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Framework Therapy and Assessment Centre, the ADD Centre, the Biofeedback Institute of Toronto, the York University Psychology Clinic, and Avalon Hills Eating Disorder Specialists in Utah, USA.

Dr. Doidge has over 8-years of experience working with various clinical populations, providing therapy and assessments to children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults. As a therapist, he has expertise treating psychological conditions including anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, autism, personality disorders, and eating disorders. Dr. Doidge uses a combination of therapeutic approaches ranging from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) , Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. He also provides executive coaching, assisting clients in achieving personal goals in professional domains.

Dr. Doidge has conducted academic research that explores executive functioning and decision-making among those with ADHD. He has also researched extensively the impact of technology on decision-making. He is a registered member of the Ontario Psychological Association.
